Puerto Rican Fashion Designer Castro-Rojas joins Nolcha Fashion Week: New York
NEW YORK, Feb.6 2012 – Puerto Rican designer Charlyn Castro-Rojas along with co-designer, Mirian Corsino, proudly debuts her Fall/Winter 2012 Collection "The Presence" at Nolcha Fashion Week: New York this February. Held simultaneously with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Nolcha is one of New York’s leading platforms for global independent fashion designers.
Castro Rojas is a seasoned men and women's designer brand with a focus in custom couture. The use of their artistic techniques provides bespoke clothing to the client’s specifications while allowing the individual to craft the look that manifests their personal taste. Castro-Rojas takes pride in the offering of exclusive personalized service in the detailing of the garment from fabric to fitting.
Castro- Rojas Collections are always inspired from the struggles that she has encountered making each and every project special, unique, and personal. She walks with her head high after so many losses, triumph is the only thing she can accomplish, becoming the only thing she knows what to become, the unthinkable. Castro - Rojas comments: "I create the collections as my life is written in drawings; moreover, I want my clienteles to feel the emotion behind each design and be part of my design."
Castro-Rojas is the definition of not giving up on you dreams, overcoming every obstacle life has set on her path. Her drive to succeed in the fashion industry has landed her an immense amount of business opportunities in the past year. One of them, being personally invited to attend Puerto Rico Fashion Week 2011, where she was also selected to dress one of the contestant for the Miss. Puerto Rico 2012 pageant.

About Charlyn Castro-Rojas
Charlyn Castro-Rojas was raised in Central Florida and her native country Puerto Rico.In her college years as a side job she worked as a freelance fashion consultant for local small celebrities. Her knowledge of fashion had always been updated due to magazines and literally guidance. The desire to form her own fashion line began with a couple of friends where she began working on her fashion line and what now in 2011 would be called Castro-Rojas. She has worked for major fashion companies including Esprit, Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein and Michael Kors. In 2011 Mrs. Castro-Rojas began the production of Castro-Rojas fashion line with Mirian Corsino.
